Think Creationists are unscientific and Silly?

Perhaps you are not convinced by the arguments put forth by creationists. Please tell me why.

Wow. People still believe in a literal interpretation of Genesis?
And they reject all the scientific evidence against, while keeping the few things that could possibly suggest literal six day creation and citing that as "the overwhelming majority of scientific evidence."
Wow.
Doesn't matter that I'm typing this anyway, as I'm half expecting this either not to be posted, or be deleted exceedingly quickly.

Is this a serious question? You really want a response to this? I wouldn't call them silly, but unscientific, yes. The Bible is not a science manual and I don't think God ever intended it to be.

Mr Hemphill, you are a gentleman -I'm not. I call that stupidtly silly and it creeps me out to know how far brainwashing can go. I'd love to see this guys on Discovery Channel posting their theories: it'd be like comedy show, indeed

Study Orthodox Christian theology; it contains a great deal of knowledge "lost" to the West yet crucial to our personal salvation.

For Orthodox Christianity, the literal age of the world, "evolutionism" and the "conflicts" between science and religion are of little importance. God knows how He created everything; our only real goal is obtaining the Holy Spirit and eternal salvation through the merciful Grace of the Lord.

Why does science provide answers that work in everyday life and the bible has miracles and blames the devil if anything doesn't coincide with the bible.

Not trying to hurt anyone's beliefs just asking because im generally interested in the answers.

We creationists are not against science. We like science! We simply don't agree with the religious overtones of evolution that is not based on facts but on presuppositions and wishful thinking. I think that science is great and love studying it. The more I study the more I see God's handiwork exposed.
