This intriguing book is one more weapon against the false teachings taking place in our children's public schools. As a parent, long time school teacher and family therapist, I recommend Doug Hamp's easy to read book to families who want their children to stand in the truth that God created in six days, the universe, the earth and every living thing did not just evolve over periods of billions of year. A must read!

My belief in the literal six day creation was totally settled for me by faith. Now my faith in the literal six day creation is supported by the comprehensive arguments presenrted in tyhis book: The First Six Days!

Awesome book! It is full of usefull information.

Doug,

Thanks for coming to Twin Cities Church and presenting the "Six Days of Creation" seminar. We have had a tremendous positive response. It was helpful to young and old, all found the information helpful, presented well, and enjoyable to listen to.

Great job. Thanks for your investment in the kingdom.

Hi Douglas,

I came to your website for one reason and ended up becoming distracted by other topics. I suppose that is the idea - LOL. Anyway, I am in the God created via evolution camp and usually stay out of the argument as the inbetweeners tend not to be popular with either side... However, I wanted to share the following thought. On your website, you state "Christianity has fought, still fights, and will continue to fight science to the desperate end over evolution, because evolution destroys utterly and finally the very reason Jesus' earthly life was supposedly made necessary. Destroy Adam and Eve and the original sin, and in the rubble you will find the sorry remains of the Son of God. If Jesus was not the redeemer who died for our sins, and this is what evolution means, then Christianity is nothing.".

I disagree with this and want to share why. I believe that Genesis 1 is parable. It is entirely true, but not literal. Everything in it is symbolic. Under this premise, although you do take away a literal Adam and Eve, you do not destroy the original sin. It still happened. How and under what circumstances, I cannot tell you. But a co-belief in evolution does not need to destroy this aspect.

Hi Doug,

I like your website, and I will refer others to it. The basics of creation have been distorted a lot, and it is good to have a simple, but complete explanation of it, for those who need to know.

Thank you for your work on this subject.

I understand there is evidnece of a Big Bang. Please tell about how time relates to this evidence.

At the American Museum of Natural History (amnh.org) in NYC, I walked thru a exhibit of Big Bang. I am reading Lee Strobel's material.

Using your concordance, the honest thing you must do is correct your Bibles as follows:

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds << cross out AGES
